TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM CITRIN DEFICIENCY AND OTHER RELATED RARE DISEASES INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR BY: 1. MAKING GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO FUND RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF CITRIN DEFICIENCY AND ENSURING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE DISSEMINATED; 2. RAISING AWARENESS OF CITRIN DEFICIENCY AMONG THOSE WHO DIAGNOSE, TREAT AND CARE FOR THOSE WITH THE CONDITION TO IMPROVE DISEASE MANAGEMENT AND INTERACTIONS BETWEEN DOCTORS, MEDICAL STAFF, PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES OR CARERS; 3. SUPPORTING PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES OR CARERS INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND ADVICE AND RAISING AWARENESS OF CITRIN DEFICIENCY AND ITS IMPACT; 4. PROMOTING COLLABORATION AMONG DOCTORS WHO TREAT CITRIN DEFICIENCY AND THE RELEVANT RESEARCHERS TO ENCOURAGE THE SHARING OF CLINICAL DATA AND LATEST SCIENTIFIC FINDINGS FOR BETTER DISEASE MANAGEMENT; AND 5. LEVERAGING THE CHARITY’S KNOWLEDGE IN TACKLING CITRIN DEFICIENCY TO DRIVE INNOVATIONS IN THE RARE DISEASE FIELD IN ORDER TO BENEFIT MORE PATIENTS WHO SUFFER FROM RARE DISEASES.
