THE OBJECT OF THE SOCIETY IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY :- (A) PRESENTING CONCERTS OF A HIGH STANDARD, RECITAL EVENINGS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES; AND (B) ENCOURAGING YOUNG AND PROMISING ARTISTS BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM TO PERFORM IN CONCERTS HELD BY THE SOCIETY.
