THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF PERINATAL PEOPLE, PARENTS AND FAMILIES, BY MEANS OF BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: A) PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT WITH PEERS AND REDUCE SOCIAL ISOLATION; B) RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING AMONGST THE WIDER GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO FERTILITY, PARENTING AND MOTHERHOOD, THROUGH WORKSHOPS, TRAINING AND EVENTS.
