Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1 TO PROMOTE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF OWLS, BIRDS OF PREY (RAPTORS) AND OTHER SPECIES OF BIRD WORTHY OF MERIT FOR CONSERVATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE OPERATION OF A LICENSED ZOOLOGICAL PARK ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC EDUCATION, SCIENTIFIC STUDY, BREEDING PROGRAMMES AND THE MAINTENANCE OF ENDANGERED BIRDS AND THEIR HABITATS IN A PROTECTED AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. 3.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF OWLS, BIRDS OF PREY (RAPTORS) AND OTHER SPECIES OF BIRD WORTHY OF MERIT FOR CONSERVATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING SERVICES TO EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS; CONTRIBUTING TO ACADEMIC RESEARCH, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE PUBLISHED; ENGAGING WITH VISITORS TO PROMOTE AWARENESS; AND PROVIDING SUPPLEMENTARY LEARNING MATERIALS. 3.3 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HERITAGE OF FALCONRY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY CONDUCTING PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS; PROVIDING INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES; AND PRODUCING ADDITIONAL LITERATURE PERTAINING TO ITS HISTORY AND TRADITIONS.
