Activities - how the charity spends its money
We promotes equality and diversity in Lincolnshire, focusing on eliminating discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We organise events, including an annual LGBTQIA town-wide Pride event, and activities, to foster awareness and understanding. Additionally, we conducts research on LGBTQIA issues and cultivate, to support for equality and diversity within our community.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN LINCOLNSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (‘THE AREA OF BENEFIT’), AND IN PARTICULAR THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR GENDER IDENTITY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) ORGANISING AND PROMOTING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL CELEBRATING THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY AND REGULAR SOCIAL EVENTS FOR THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT, DESIGNED TO RAISE AWARENESS OF AND ADDRESS DISCRIMINATION AND OTHER ISSUES AFFECTING THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND NATIONALLY, ADVANCE LGBTQIA+ RIGHTS AND FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; B) CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES, IN PARTICULAR AFFECTING THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY, AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS; C) CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY.
