THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PRESERVE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE KELLY MINE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, EQUIPMENT OR ANY OTHER ITEMS OF MINING OR LOCAL INTEREST. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROMOTION OF KNOWLEDGE AND INTEREST IN THE HERITAGE OF THE KELLY MINE SITE THROUGH RESEARCH AND ORGANISING TOURS AND TALKS REGARDING LOCAL AND MINING RELATED HISTORICAL MATTERS.
