THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM BLOOD CANCER FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: I. THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS FOCUSING ON THE ADVANCEMENT IN UNDERSTANDING, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF BLOOD CANCERS; II. THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BY WAY OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, TO FUND ACCOMMODATION AND OR TRAVEL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR TREATMENT AND CARE; AND III. BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO BLOOD CANCER.
