THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CIO WILL:- 1. ADVANCE EDUCATION THROUGH THE PUBLISHING OF WORKS OF URDU LITERATURE AND LANGUAGE AND TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A LIBRARY OR DIGITAL ARCHIVE OF URDU LITERARY WORKS AND HISTORICAL TEXTS; AND 2. TO ADVANCE URDO ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE BY SUPPORTING AND FACILITATING ART, MUSIC, AND THEATRE PERFORMANCES THAT REFLECT THE RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE URDU LANGUAGE.
