Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1. TO ADVANCE IN LIFE, HELP, AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE, THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. (C) INCREASING, OR CO-ORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS, DISABILITIES OR HEALTH CONDITIONS, TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO ENABLE THOSE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE, AND RAISING AWARENESS AMONG THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE SERVICE NEEDS OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE. (D) PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL CARE SERVICES FOR LOOKED AFTER CHILDREN.
