THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SALFORD AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SUBORDINATE STANDARD OF FAITH AS DEFINED IN THE BOOK OF CHURCH ORDER OF THE INTERNATIONAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (BCO), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH CHRISTIAN WORSHIP, CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS AND PASTORAL OUTREACH WORK.
