THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE MILITARY EFFICIENCY OF HIS MAJESTY'S ARMED FORCES IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO: (1) INCREASING PHYSICAL FITNESS; (2) FOSTERING ESPRIT DE CORPS; (3) RAISING MORALE; OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES, IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THROUGH ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THE PARTICIPATION IN, AND PROVISION OF OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR, SPORTS PARACHUTING IN THE ARMED FORCES.
