TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT THROUGH RESEARCH AND PRODUCING USEFUL RESULTS TO DETERMINE THE RELATIVE SUCCESS AND ECOLOGICAL IMPACT OF PLANTING REDWOOD TREES IN A VARIETY OF WOODLAND, SOIL AND MOISTURE TYPES.
