THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (1) TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF CATS AND KITTENS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND IN PARTICULAR BY: A. THE RESCUE, REHABILITATION AND REHOUSING OF STRAY, UNWANTED AND ABANDONED CATS AND KITTENS; AND B. THE NEUTER AND RELEASE OF FERAL AND GARDEN CATS TO HUMANELY CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS; AND THE TREATMENT OF ANY ILLNESS, DISEASE OR INJURY WHERE PRACTICABLE BEFORE REHOUSING OR RELEASE. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL, THE SPECIFIC NEEDS AND CARE OF CAT AND KITTENS AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING TO CATS AND KITTENS.
