Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND UPON TRUST TO APPLY THE INCOME, AND ALL OR SUCH PART OR PARTS OF THE CAPITAL, AT SUCH TIME OR TIMES AND IN SUCH MANNER TO, OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF, THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE OBJECTS: 1. TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PERSONS DIAGNOSED WITH FIBROLAMELLAR HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF THE CONDITION, PROVIDED THAT SUCH RESEARCH SHALL BE FREELY AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC TO UTILISE AND BENEFIT FROM IT, WITH NO PRIVATE OR COMMERCIAL BENEFIT. 2. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE DIAGNOSED WITH FIBROLAMELLAR HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA AND THEIR FAMILIES BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE CARE AND SUPPORT TO PATIENTS.
