THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF ASYLUM SEEKERS AND THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS LIVING IN SALFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A DROP-IN CENTRE OFFERING TRAINING FACILITIES AND SUPPORT SERVICES DESIGNED TO: • ASSIST WITH ADAPTING TO LIFE WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY; • PRESERVE AND PROTECT PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING; • ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING; • RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND UNEMPLOYMENT.
