Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (OBJECTS) ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE RELIEF OF NEED OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED CRIME AND/OR ARE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY THE PROVISION OF: (A) AGE-APPROPRIATE, TRAUMA-INFORMED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE; (B) SHORT-TERM RESPITE BREAKS; (C) TOYS, EQUIPMENT, CLOTHING AND ACCESS TO RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES; AND (D) EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND TRAINING COURSES TO DEVELOP NEW SKILLS, INCLUDING GRANTS TO COVER THE COSTS OF MATERIALS, COURSE FEES AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EXPENSES.
