THE AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION OR OTHER PLACE OF LEARNING APPROVED BY THE CARDIGANSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL AS TRUSTEE. THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, CLOTHING, TOOLS, BOOKS, ETC., TO HELP BENEFICIARIES TO PREPARE FOR, OR TO ENTER, A PROFESSION, TRADE OR CALLING. ASSISTANCE FOR TRAVEL FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS. NOTE:- AWARDS CONSISTING OF PAYMENT OF FEES TO BE CALLED "COE SCHOLARSHIPS". AWARDS FOR EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL TO BE CALLED "COE BURSARIES". AWARDS OF BENEFITS OF OTHER KINDS TO BE SUITABLE ASSOCIATED WITH THE NAMES OF THE LATE MR AND MRS HARRY HERBERT COE, FORMERLY OF BLAENDYFFRYN HALL, CARDIGANSHIRE. "BENEFICIARIES" MEANS PERSONS OF EITHER SEX RESIDENT IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE COUNTY OF CARIDGAN WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO ARE, OR HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN TWO YEARS AT ANY TIME BEEN, IN ATTENDANCE AS REGISTERED PUPILS AT A MAINTAINED SECONDARY SCHOOL OR AS ENROLLED STUDENTS A MAINTAINED ESTABLISHMENT OF FURTHER EDUCATION IN THE SAID COUNTY, AND WHO, IN THE OPINION OF THE COUNCIL, ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
