Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY PROVIDING A SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMP ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES; AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADDRESS ISSUES SUCH AS STRESS, ANXIETY AND LONELINESS BY USING ARTS AND CRAFTS TO PROVIDE A CREATIVE OUTLET WITHIN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY OF WELWYN HATFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
