THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN BRADFORD (WEST YORKSHIRE) AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IS: TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS CATS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR CATS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT OR POOR CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE STRAY, FERAL, UNWANTED, HOMELESS AND ABANDONED, REHOMING SUCH CATS WHERE APPROPRIATE, AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND THE CARE AND WELFARE OF CATS IN GENERAL.
