FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF FAMILIES AFFECTED BY (INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY LIMITED TO): MISCARRIAGE, IN-UTERO LIFE CHANGING DIAGNOSES, TFMR, STILLBIRTH, NICU STAYS, NEONATAL DEATH, INFANT LOSS, CHILDHOOD DEATH, PROLONGED HOSPITAL ADMISSIONS, CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX MEDICAL NEEDS, CHILDHOOD LIFE LIMITING ILLNESS, AND LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS, IN PARTICULAR BY 1. THE PROVISION OF SELF-CARE ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES, 2. THE PROVISION OF MEMORY BOXES FOR THE BEREAVED, 3. THE PROVISION OF PRACTICAL ADVICE AND PEER SUPPORT, AND 4. THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE ‘COMPLEX MEDICAL NEEDS’ REFERS TO CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH AN ILLNESS, DISABILITY OR SENSORY IMPAIRMENT THAT REQUIRES SUBSTANTIAL DAILY SUPPORT FROM A PARENT CARER.
