THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SYLHET TOWN, KHASHILA VILLAGE (SYLHET DISTRICT), DHAKA, BANGLADESH, LUTON BEDFORDSHIRE, UK AND SUCH OTHER COUNTRIES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, ARE: 1) THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS, WORKING TO ASSIST SUCH INDIVIDUALS. 2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY PROVIDING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUCH SCHOOLS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE TO SUPPORT THE PROVISION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING RESOURCES AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS. 3) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH BY PROVIDING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT SUCH PLACES OF WORSHIP, RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS, RELIGIOUS EVENTS, ACTIVITIES AND INDIVIDUALS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE, DESIGNED TO FACILITATE AND ENABLE PUBLIC ADHERENCE TO THE FAITHS.
