We advance, promote and deliver the relief and assistance of those in terminal ill-health across the UK. We provide practical, emotional and spiritual support to individuals at the end of life and those important to them, providing education, training and continued professional development to those delivering such support, and by providing funding for individuals in need of this support.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE AND DELIVER FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF TERMINAL ILL-HEALTH ACROSS THE UK, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING PRACTICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS AT THE END OF LIFE AND THOSE IMPORTANT TO THEM, PROVIDING EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO THOSE DELIVERING SUCH SUPPORT, AND BY PROVIDING FUNDING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD SUCH SUPPORT.
