Charitable objects
1. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONGST REFUGEES, MIGRANTS AND THOSE FROM ETHNIC MINORITY BACKGROUNDS IN HARTLEPOOL TO PREVENT THEM FROM BEING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO ARE SOCIAL EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY THROUGH: A) ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES; B) SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EVENTS INVOLVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY; C) PROVIDING WORKSHOPS AND SUPPORT WHICH PROVIDE EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS; D) OTHER RELATED ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT THAT MAY ASSIST THEM WITH THE ADAPTING WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY; E) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY. 2. TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT HEALTH OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN HARTLEPOOL PRIMARILY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HEALTH EDUCATION AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES. 3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH: A) PROVIDING EDUCATION IN INDIAN AND MALAYALEE, HERITAGE, CULTURE, LANGUAGE VIA WORKSHOPS, EXHIBITIONS AND PERFORMANCES; B) OTHER TOPICS OF EDUCATION AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE. 4. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES).
