PROVIDING ESSENTIAL ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED, AND SUPPORTING CHARITIES OR ORGANISATIONS DEDICATED TO POVERTY PREVENTION AND RELIEF. ? PROVIDING OR IMPROVING ACCESS TO NECESSITIES SUCH AS FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SHELTER. ? OFFERING ADVICE AND GUIDANCE ON BENEFITS ENTITLEMENT, HEALTH, HOUSING, AND EDUCATION, INCLUDING PROVIDING DEBT AND BUDGETING ADVICE. ? OFFERING A WARM, WELCOMING SPACE DURING COLDER MONTHS FOR INDIVIDUALS FACING FUEL POVERTY, PROVIDING FREE HOT DRINKS, FOOD, AND A PLACE TO REDUCE HEATING COSTS AT HOME. 3.3 SOCIAL INCLUSION ? TO FOSTER SOCIAL INCLUSION AND BUILD COMMUNITY COHESION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY OPERATING A COMMUNITY HUB AND CAF?. ? TO PROMOTE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COMBAT SOCIAL ISOLATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY OFFERING STRUCTURED VOLUNTEERING PROGRAMS AT THE COMMUNITY HUB AND CAF?. 3.4 RELIEF OF SICKNESS ? TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL DISTRESS OF INDIVIDUALS OF THOSE IN NEED BY OFFERING A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT, PROMOTING WELL-BEING THROUGH PEER SUPPORT, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION ON MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES. 3.5 RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES ? TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING, CREATIVITY, AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, SUCH AS ARTS AND CRAFTS SESSIONS, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, AND OTHER CREATIVE PURSUITS. 3.6 COMMUNITY CAPACITY BUILDING ? TO EMPOWER SOCIALLY EXCLUDED PEOPLE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING TARGETED SUPPORT AND RESOURCES THAT ADDRESS THEIR UNIQUE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES, INCLUDING TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT. 3.6 NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
