THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, WITH A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON A RANGE OF TOPICS THAT DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AFFECT WOMEN BY: - ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; AND - PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS. II. TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD MENTAL HEALTH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY AMONGST WOMEN AND GIRLS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING OR ARE AT RISK OF EXPERIENCING MENTAL ILL-HEALTH, BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, GUIDANCE, PEER SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE DESIGNED TO PROMOTE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH AND ENCOURAGE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES.
