Educational activities comprise evening talks and daytime events to engage residents to learn more about the natural world . From a conservation perspective HNN undertakes habitat improvement projects(eg balsam pulling ,tree /hedgerow planting) and environmental monitoring and surveys(eg river fly and pollution).
