THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DOWNS SYNDROME RESIDING IN THE PHILIPPINES THROUGH: - ORGANISING MEDICAL OUTREACH CLINICS AT WHICH THE CHILDREN CAN OBTAIN MEDICAL ADVICE, SUPPORT AND TREATMENT FROM QUALIFIED PRACTITIONERS; - PROVIDING ADVICE AND SUPPORT ON ALL AREAS OF DOWNS SYNDROME TO PARENTS AND CARERS TO ENABLE THEM TO PROVIDE BETTER CARE FOR THEIR CHILDREN; AND - RAISING AWARENESS AMONGST THE WIDER COMMUNITY WITH A VIEW TO ALLEVIATING INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETAL STIGMAS FACED BY THOSE WITH DOWNS SYNDROME.
