Charitable objects
1. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG ADULTS RESIDING IN SUTTON COLDFIELD WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF LEARNING DISABILITIES, RELIEVING THEIR NEEDS AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, TRAINING, SUPPORT AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES DESIGNED TO PREPARE THEM TO ACCESS SUPPORTED WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS AND, WHERE POSSIBLE, TO SECURE PAID EMPLOYMENT AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND TO PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES WITH A CHRISTIAN ETHOS. BY LEARNING DISABILITY WE MEAN, A DISABILITY THAT AFFECTS THE ACQUISITION OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, IN PARTICULAR A NEURODEVELOPMENTAL CONDITION AFFECTING INTELLECTUAL PROCESSES, EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT, AND THE ACQUISITION OF SKILLS NEEDED FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONING.
