3.1 TO PURSUE THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS, PRIMARILY IN LANCASHIRE: (A) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH THROUGH THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF FACILITIES FOR THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ILLNESS, RAISING AWARENESS OF HEALTH ISSUES AND PROMOTING HEALTHY RECREATION AND LIFESTYLES; (B) THE RELIEF OF HARDSHIP OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE; (C) THE PROMOTION OF ARTS AND AND OTHER COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND (D) THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT INCLUDING WILDLIFE.
