Charitable objects
3.1.1 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SUBJECTS OF MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 IN AFRICA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) PROVIDING GRANTS OR FUNDING TO SCHOOLS, CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY OF SUCH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE; (B) PROVIDING OR SUPPORTING ACCESS TO FORMAL EDUCATION AT SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS; (C) AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS OFFERING MENTORSHIP AND ACADEMIC GUIDANCE PROGRAMS TO YOUNG PEOPLE TO ENHANCE YOUNG PEOPLE'S EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES; AND (D) ORGANISING COMPETITIONS, PUBLIC LECTURES AND PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND RESOURCES TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. 3.1.2 THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE AFRICAN DIASPORA.
