TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN BENGALI ARTS, CULTURE, HERITAGE, AND TRADITIONS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY IN AND AROUND THE SUFFOLK AREA, BY ORGANISING CULTURAL EVENTS, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, AND AN ANNUAL DURGA PUJA FESTIVAL, THEREBY FOSTERING GREATER AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF BENGALI HERITAGE AND BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS, PARTICULARLY YOUNG AND EMERGING ARTISTS, TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS THROUGH TRAINING, MENTORSHIP, AND PUBLIC PERFORMANCES.
