PURPOSES 1.1 FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1.1.1 PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A RESCUE AND REHOMING SERVICE AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE, PROTECTION AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS; AND 1.1.2 EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
