THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1 TO PROMOTE RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS HARMONY BETWEEN THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AND OTHER MEMBERS OF SOCIETY BY WORKING TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION IN THE FORM OF ANTISEMITISM, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; AND 3.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION ABOUT ANTISEMITISM, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO ANTISEMITISM IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
