Research into gaps in referral pathways, specialist support, legal advice. Keep the issue of family courts on policy-makers' agenda by a strong communications and convening strategy.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW, PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY: (1) THE PROVISION OF APPROPRIATE TRAINING OF JUDGES, MAGISTRATES AND POLICE IN DEALING WITH CASES WHERE THERE IS DOMESTIC ABUSE; (2) THE CARRYING OUT OF RESEARCH INTO THE BARRIERS PREVENTING THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW IN CASES INVOLVING DOMESTIC ABUSE, AND ENSURING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE DISSEMINATED; (3) WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANISATION THAT SUPPORT AND ASSIST DOMESTIC ABUSE SURVIVORS THAT ARE NAVIGATING COURT PROCEEDINGS; (4) ADVOCACY ON BEHALF OF DOMESTIC ABUSE SURVIVORS AND THEIR ACCESS TO FAIR HEARINGS.
