THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF MEN LIVING THE SALFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN NEED WHO MAY BE EXPERIENCING OR AT RISK OF EXPERIENCING POOR MENTAL HEALTH IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: INCREASING AWARENESS OF, AND REDUCING THE STIGMA ATTACHED TO MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH, PROVIDING SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND ADVICE, PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEN TO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES AND ACCESS PEER SUPPORT ONLINE AND IN PERSON THROUGH MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES, SIGNPOSTING TO AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ACCESS SPECIALIST SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING FROM OTHER PROVIDERS.
