THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CARERS OVER THE AGE OF 18 IN THE NEWPORT AREA BY:- • PROVIDING SUPPORT, INFORMATION, GUIDANCE AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE; • PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CARERS; • PROMOTING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF CARERS; • WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND AGENCIES TO IMPROVE SERVICES AND POLICIES FOR CARERS.
