TO BRING TO ULVERSTON MEN OR WOMEN OF PROMINENCE ENGAGED IN OR ASSOCIATED WITH SCIENTIFIC, INDUSTRIAL AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS WHO BY LECTURE, ENTERTAINMENT OR OTHERWISE WOULD ENLARGE AND BROADEN THE OUTLOOK OR VIEWS OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF ULVERSTON.
