THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE FROM ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES, IN PARTICULAR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, LIVING IN THE LONDON BOROUGHS OF GREENWICH, LAMBETH, LEWISHAM AND SOUTHWARK BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING IN SUBJECTS WILL INCLUDE LITERACY, MATHS, SCIENCE, AND ESOL ( ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES) CLASSES FOR ADULT REFUGEES IN THE COMMUNITY WHO HAVE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE.
