Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE GOOD MENTAL HEALTH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY OF CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND ALSO ADULTS, IN THE AREA OF YORKSHIRE AND HUMBERSIDE, BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: 1. DEVELOPING AND OFFERING ACCESSIBLE COUNSELLING, THERAPY, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTIONS TO CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES, ENABLING THEM TO ACHIEVE EMOTIONAL WELLBEING AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED; 2. DELIVERING THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PLAY, ART, DRAMA, COUNSELLING, THERAPLAY AND FILIAL THERAPY, ATTACHMENTS ASSESSMENT, SPECIALIST PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT, THERAPEUTIC LIFE STORY WORK AND EMDR FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS ; 3. PROVIDING TRAINING FOR ADULTS FROM FAMILY, THERAPEUTIC AND EDUCATION SETTINGS THAT DEVELOPS AND ENHANCES THEIR THERAPEUTIC SKILLS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONALLY VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR PSYCHOLOGICAL, EMOTIONAL OR SOCIAL DISABILITIES AND CIRCUMSTANCES; 4. LIAISING CLOSELY WITH OTHER VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES ALSO CONCERNED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF PERSONS IN NEED IN CONNECTION WITH THE ABOVE OBJECT.
