Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY CANCER, AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP, OR DISTRESS BY REASON OF ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, OR OTHER SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1. PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT EVERYDAY LIVING COSTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RENT, UTILITY BILLS, FOOD, TRAVEL, AND ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS; 2. OFFERING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND WELLBEING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF RESPITE BREAKS, DAY TRIPS, GIFTS, AND COMFORT PACKAGES; 3. PROVIDING ITEMS AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE EFFECTS OF CANCER OR CANCER TREATMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WIGS, PROSTHETICS, SPECIALIST CLOTHING, AND OTHER HEALTH-RELATED ITEMS; 4. RAISING AWARENESS AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT CANCER AND THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DETECTION, PARTICULARLY WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES; 5. PROMOTING CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT THE ABOVE AIMS, AND REINVESTING ALL RAISED FUNDS BACK INTO COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORT INITIATIVES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER; 6. OPERATING WITHIN THE WEST MIDLANDS OR SUCH OTHER AREAS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, ENSURING THAT ALL SUPPORT PROVIDED IS DIRECTED TOWARD PUBLIC BENEFIT.
