PAYMENTS ARE MADE TO THE CARTMEL POOR CHARITY AND TO BROW EDGE FOUNDATION. THE BULK OF THE MONIES AFTER THE ABOVE IS USED FOR PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OR TRAINING TO PERSONS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 A 25 AND PROVIDING GRANTS TO SCHOOLS TO MEET EXPENDITURE, NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE EDUCATION AUTHORITY. THE BENEFICIAL AREA IS THE ANCIENT PARISH OF CARTMEL AS DEFINED IN THE TRUST DEED.
