(I) USED FOR THE AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS TO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE FORMER BOROUGH OF LEIGH WHO ATTEND ANY INSTITUTION OF EDUCATION APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES (FOR FURTHER DETAILS SEE SCHEME).
