THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSES ARE: 1. TO OFFER BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO CHILDREN FROM THE COMMUNITY WHO MAY NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD INDEPENDENT EDUCATION, THEREBY WIDENING ACCESS TO THE SCHOOL. 2. TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY OR ANNUALLY REVIEWED HARDSHIP BURSARIES FOR CURRENT PARENTS OF MILTON KEYNES PREPARATORY SCHOOL, WHO MAY FIND THEMSELVES IN DIFFICULTIES. THE PURPOSES ARE FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT AND ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE OF ADVANCING EDUCATION UNDER UK CHARITY LAW.
