TO AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS OR OTHER BENEFITS TO YOUNG MEN WHO HAVE NOT ATTAINED THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO ARE INTENDING TO TAKE HOLY ORDERS IN THE CHURCH IOF ENGLAND WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND WHO ARE PROCEEDING TO, OR ARE IN ATTENDANCE AT, ANY UNIVERSITY APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES (WITH A PREFERENCE, OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL, FOR ANY OF THE UNIVERSITIES OF OXFORD, CAMBRIDGE, DURHAM, OR DUBLIN) TO ENABLE SUCH YOUNG MEN TO PURSUE, OR TO FACILITATE, THEIR STUDIES.
