FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UK, WITH A FOCUS ON SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES AND AREAS IN WHICH LITERACY LEVELS ARE LOW, PRIMARILY THROUGH: A) ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF READING BOOKS AND ASSOCIATED ITEMS TO SUPPORT WITH THE IMPORTANCE OF READING AND LITERACY; B) SUPPORTING WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND ACCESSIBILITY OF CHILDREN’S LIBRARY FACILITIES IN SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS/HOSPICES AND WIDER COMMUNITY SETTINGS; C) SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
