Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1 THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AND HARDSHIP AMONG FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN THE UK BY PROVIDING PRACTICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SOCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED; 3.2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FAMILY SUPPORT WORK, THE PROVISION OF PASTORAL CARE, AND THE PROMOTION OF THE CHRISTIAN MESSAGE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY; 3.3 ALL SUCH OBJECTS SHALL BE CARRIED OUT AS A PRACTICAL EXPRESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH.
