TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM SICKNESS, POOR HEALTH AND TERMINAL ILLNESS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE LAMBERT HOSPICE IN THIRSK, NORTH YORKSHIRE (CURRENTLY KNOWN AS HERRIOT HOSPICE AT THE LAMBERT), WHICH PROVIDES SERVICES TO THOSE PEOPLE, THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR CARERS, AND TO GENERALLY SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE LAMBERT HOSPICE.
