Responding to 999 calls on behalf of East Midlands Ambulance Service, in advance of other emergency resources, in and around the Chesterfield area. Providing life-saving care to patients who may be critically ill or injured. Providing training to members of the public on how to perform CPR, use an AED and basic first aid.

Charitable objects
(A) THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE AND GOOD HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF IMMEDIATE MEDICAL CARE TO ANY PERSON INVOLVED IN ANY MEDICAL EMERGENCY OR INJURED IN ANY ACCIDENT IN THE AREA OF CHESTERFIELD AND SURROUNDING TOWNS AND VILLAGES AS DIRECTED BY EAST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST UNTIL THE ARRIVAL OF AN AMBULANCE OR FIRST RESPONSE VEHICLE. B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING AND FAMILIARISATION IN CPR BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND OR THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE OF FIRST AID IN CHESTERFIELD AND SURROUNDING TOWNS AND VILLAGES.
