THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO ADVANCE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME SEE FIT, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO REGISTERED CHARITIES AND TO OTHER COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.
