TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN ENGLAND AND WALES, AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, IMPACTED BY AUTISM AND ADHD OR WHO MAY BE NEURODIVERGENT, BY: A)PROVIDING RESOURCES, ADVOCACY SERVICES AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ACCESS APPROPRIATE, INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES; B) PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES INVOLVING SCHOOLS, PROFESSIONALS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING, ACCEPTANCE AND INCLUSION OF NEURODIVERSE INDIVIDUALS IN SOCIETY; C) MAKING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE CIO’S PURPOSES; D) WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHERE THIS SUPPORTS THE CIO’S PURPOSES.
